Teacher Enhancement Program Policies
All policies and requirements stated here are program-wide and not at the discretion of individual instructors. Enrollment in any course offered for CSM credit implies your agreement to comply with program policies and requirements.
Credit
The Colorado School of Mines Teacher Enhancement Program offers content courses in the areas of science, mathematics, and technology. All courses offered by the Teacher Enhancement Program carry graduate-level, relicensure semester hours of credit. These courses (denoted on official transcripts with the prefix “CT” or “TE”) are specifically designed for teachers who already hold an undergraduate degree. The credit is applicable to relicensure and school district pay raises in the State of Colorado and is generally accepted elsewhere.
The credits are not applicable to a degree program at our institution. Whether or not the course work is applicable to a degree program at another education institution is entirely up to the discretion of that institution.
All courses are offered in cooperation with the Extended Studies Program of the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
