Receive an overview of using citizen science data in a classroom setting. After reviewing several case studies from education-friendly citizen science projects (Project BudBurst, eBird, FrogWatch, Picture Post, and CoCoRaHS) apply your new learning by creating a lesson plan that meets national education standards. You will need a basic familiarity with the concept of citizen science.
