Learn the ecology of bighorn sheep, how to identify a ram from a ewe, a yearling or a lamb, and how to age sheep by the rings on their horns. Discuss how the sheep can live in such mountainous steep terrain, learn what they eat, and visit two mineral licks to learn why they are so important to the survival of the sheep. Discuss important management issues related to bighorn sheep.
