In a land too cold for polar fleece, imagine life as a hunter/gatherer. You depend on nature for warmth, food, and shelter. Learn about Yup'ik's lifeways, traditions, and culture to see if you could live on the arctic tundra. Try to harvest food with bolas, spears, and atlatl; build a miniature kayak; try on traditional clothing; and make a storyknife.
