Gain a detailed overview of America's modern mining industry, answering important questions such as: What does the mining industry do, and how does it impact the environment? How does the mining industry function? Why is mining important to America's society? Learn how the mining industry is discovering and producing minerals, energy, and a variety of other materials we need for our global society, while also working to protect the environment and leaving the land in better condition after reclamation when the mining process is complete.
